This meetup of Eddisrupt in partnership with Free Code Camp Lisbon features an introduction to React for people with basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript. You will learn the basic concepts of React. Plus, you will gain real experience by building an application. For this, you will do pair-programming. A tutorial will be provided. After the workshop you will know how to set up your own React application yourself and dig into more advanced concepts.

Detailed Description
The workshop will be in English. It will be a mixture of theory and practice. In a tutorial you will follow the five best practice steps to build React applications from the “Thinking in React” documentation.
It will not be a copy and paste demonstration. Instead, we will form pairs where a more experienced coder teams up with a less experienced one and you will build the application together
We will use the create-react-app Client so you can directly start using React without having to worry about any setup or configuration… or webpack 😉
We (Walter Wallner and the Eddisrupt team) will be around to answer your questions.
