Similar to React and Angular, but (much) simpler! This will probably be the first workshop on this technology in Portugal.
Vue.js currently has more than 114,000 stars on GitHub (ie September 2018). This is already more than the React (which is in the 111,000). It is a true phenomenon of popularity.
What is all this fame due to? Perhaps we can sum it up in two words: simplicity and performance. Vue.js is very nice to learn and use. We can use Vue.js to build our entire application, especially if it is a Single Page Application. But we can also use it to quickly add new functionality to an existing web project, whatever the technology that supports it.
In this workshop we will cover all the fundamental aspects of Vue.js. It is not a matter of exhausting the theme, but rather of providing solid foundations to take full advantage of the framework.

You will do some practical exercises. Each participant must bring a portable computer with any of the usual operating systems. You may want to have Node.js and a code editor installed. In the demos you will use Windows and VS Code, but any others can be used.
The workshop will be guided by Jorge Costa da Silva, director of Openbox. He recently wrote the book “Manual do Vue.js”, which will be distributed to participants.
